Meet Our Dedicated UEFA Coaching Staff at Pro Sports Campus
At Pro Sports Campus, our teams are composed of two groups: the coaching team and the welfare team, which encompasses the camp management staff. While all members of our staff are entrusted with the welfare of our players, the welfare team is specifically dedicated to providing round-the-clock support for the physical and emotional well-being of every child. They ensure that participants are where they need to be, equipped with the necessary gear, and properly fueled with nutrition and rest.
We meticulously select and train our staff, drawing upon our extensive experience to choose the most qualified individuals for each role. All staff members undergo an enhanced DBS check, a comprehensive criminal record and background assessment, to ensure their suitability for working with children. Additionally, every staff member receives training in child safeguarding, while senior pastoral care staff possess extensive experience in working with children in educational or residential settings.
Our team also includes members who are trained in first aid, such as our on-site sports therapists and UEFA football coaches, as well as those proficient in administering medicines, thereby upholding the highest standards of child welfare at all times.
Keeping You Connected: Communication with Home at Pro Sports Campus
Recognizing and addressing homesickness is an integral part of our staff training at Pro Sports Campus. It’s common for many children to experience homesickness during the initial days of camp, and our dedicated staff are equipped to provide all necessary care and support to help them settle in comfortably. We understand that acclimating to camp life and engaging in activities are effective remedies for homesickness, typically easing within a few days.
Should your child encounter homesickness, we encourage you to allow them space to adjust to their new environment. Our experience shows that excessive contact with parents in the initial days can intensify homesickness and hinder the full enjoyment of the camp experience. Rest assured, our staff are readily available to communicate with you and provide updates on your child’s progress. Furthermore, if any issues arise, we will promptly reach out to you.
Our staff are trained to recognize emotional changes or unusual behaviors in players, ensuring they receive the necessary support to overcome any challenges and make the most of their time with us. Your child’s well-being and comfort are our top priorities, and we’re committed to ensuring they have a positive and fulfilling experience at Pro Sports Campus.
Ensuring Medical Care at Pro Sports Campus
At Pro Sports Campus, the well-being of every participant is of utmost importance. That’s why our staff, including sports therapists, football coaches, and members of our welfare team, are trained in First Aid. Additionally, our senior staff are qualified in the administration of medication.
During registration, our team will be available to discuss any medication your child brings to camp. We kindly ask you to document the dosage and frequency of any medication they require. For specialized medication, a doctor’s note and instructions are preferred. Rest assured, our staff will securely store all medications and assist your child in taking them at the correct time and dosage.
The Player Welfare Form you complete will inquire about medication, and we may ask for confirmation on arrival day to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
In the event that your child falls ill during camp and is unable to participate in training, we will promptly contact you to discuss the best course of action. Our staff will accompany your child to see a doctor or to the hospital if necessary. Please note, if we are unable to reach you, we will follow all medical advice provided for the ongoing care of your child. Your child’s health and safety are our priority, and we’re dedicated to providing the best possible care at Pro Sports Campus.
Injury Prevention Measures at Pro Sports Campus
At Pro Sports Campus, the safety of our participants is paramount. All of our football coaches undergo training to deliver sessions in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury. Furthermore, a sports therapist will be present during football coaching sessions to assess and treat minor injuries promptly. In the case of serious injuries, medical professionals will intervene, and parents will be promptly informed, especially if the injury hinders their child’s participation in football training. Our welfare staff will accompany any player requiring medical attention to the doctor’s surgery or the nearest hospital, as deemed appropriate.
If your child has any pre-existing injuries that do not impede their participation in the camp, we kindly request that you inform us in writing with as much detail as possible. This enables our staff to adequately monitor them. Additionally, please feel free to discuss any injuries with us upon arrival at the camp.
We take all injuries seriously, and while some players may express a desire to continue playing despite an injury, our sports therapist will make the final judgment prioritizing the long-term fitness and well-being of the player. Your child’s safety and health are our utmost concern at Pro Sports Campus.
